dang, hadnt heard about the cam phasers, i knew about the plug issues. the more i learn about the new stuff, the more i want to keep my old iron around! dad got a '05 superduty with a 5.4, looks good on paper, ready for some snow to see how it does with a plow (plow already on) hes pulled his 28' travel trailer with it once and he like how it did. still not sure how it can hold a candle to the '77 we once had. with a 400, 4.10's a C6 and full-time 4wd the only thing stopping it was a long distance between gas stations (9 mpg, no matter what) the '94 with the 351 wasnt bad, but the 3.55 gears kinda kept it from being a awesome plow rig. this '05 seems to be better on fuel, though these days you cant seem to afford to fill it all the way up to check the milage.

 

Evidently in N.C., but not in my area of Ohio anymore. I used to frequent there, but the ones around me got rebranded Valero. I went there once, and my truck ran like crap.
