I'm just curious, I've heard a lot of people say this about diesels. What did your truck do that you couldn't just hop in it and go? Just wondering because the only thing I wait for on mine is the WTS light to turn off which only takes like 3 seconds. Other than that, just hop in and go.

Some people just jump and go. I was always more patient and would wait for oil temps to get closer to 70-100 before i started moving. Right or wrong that is what I always did. So a few minutes in the summer and 20+ minutes in the winter. Cool downs I waited a few minutes too.
Lol I guess around here the oil never gets below 70* even when it sits overnight lol. In the Winter time though I always warm the truck up. More for my sake than the trucks but still lol. I do usually let it cool down, actually I'm looking into getting the turbo timer add on for my insight so I don't have to mess with it.

awesome zack! I love the color too. So you figure the little you tow the ranger the f-150 will be fine for ya? I honestly have been thinking about it myself, before I have spendy problems some day. I just dont think I use it enough to justify having it. trade it in on something while my 7.3 is mint
