The whole reason I bought my Superduty...

The whole reason I bought my Superduty was to do this... One year later I finally get to.

Two trucks, one 30' trailer.

Its squating a bit but if you really think about... 5000lb trailer, 6000lb ranger, 3500lb? Jeep and 8000lb truck. 22k lbs gross? I wonder if i could still beat like a mini van in the 1/4 mile? haha

Awesome! Willing to bet this is already in the "What do you tow?" threads on PSN/PSA?

PS - That setup looks so sweet, I can overlook the stack, lmao! (kidding, I'm actually a fan of it now)

More pics!

it was a just a test run. 4hr trip to the dunes in a few weeks and I wanted to make sure they would both fit on the 30' trailer and how i wanted to load them.

I'd actually consider a single for my truck, but I want a toolbox sometime and I have my motorcycle or farm supplies in the bed 90% of the time . . . and I've seen some of aftermath pics of crap in the bed VS. 600* pipes.

Speaking of which, notice much if any of an EGT drop with the stack? What are your EGT's pulling the trailer? Gonna add some helper bags when you have your own trailer?

A lot of power and fun in that one picture!

No change in EGT maybe a few degrees. One of the biggest reasons I did it was I was tired of smelling diesel fumes when i back up or sitting at a light.

Ive had plastic, straw, wood, card board, etc etc all sitting against the stack. no fires yet. lol

I think It was around 900* pulling the trailer maybe 1400 max at accel. Not too bad. 45lbs of boost though.

I would like to add some bags when I do get my own trailer. Right now I dont want to mess with this guys trailer and neck height. Its not mine you know? it pulled really freaking well. I was surprised. The bags are another reason I went with a stack. No room with a gooseneck and 5" exhaust. lol

Wow lots of comments lol. I drove my brothers Cummins 3500 to prom and he didnt care what I did or how I drove it just as long as I watched one gauge out of 6: the pyrometer. It had a piece of tape on it at 1250* and he said dont let it go past that for very long lol. I learned at 40 lbs of boost, it climed like a rocket real fast. Its got tons of work to it, needless to say. Itll blow smoke for as long as you have your foot in it. Ever since then, Iv wanted a diesel. Can anyone say Cummins swap?
You planned on doin some work to yours?

I looked it up and I couldn't figure out exactly what is required as there are 2 numbers circulating but one was it has to be under 26001 lbs (which you are) and the other is if the trailer weighs more then 10,000 lbs, then you need a class A license (aka 'cdl')

I looked it up once because I drove a friends f350 dually with a 3car trailer and 3 cars on it, and was curious if I needed a class A to drive it.

Id look it up though with your states laws

Technically, he should have a CDL to drive it. its a truck pulling a trailer with over 10,000 GVWR. (i think). i know my Chauffeurs license is good to drive anything (truck and trailer) up to 10,000 GVWR.

but anyways, lookin good, thats gonna be a long trip. Any worries with the trailer?
