is there anyway..??

hey guys, i took a look under my truck the other day,(99 ranger 3.0) and was looking around my exhaust system. is there anyways i can cheaply modify my exhaust system, maybe just from the muffler back, anyone have any clever ideas how to gain a couple horsepower, and get a better sound out of this motor?

yeah its welded to the converter. i didn't do the work. i had a shop do it. i've never had an aftermarket exhaust with spring bolts anyway so i'm not to worried about it. the stock rubber hangers hold it in place well and give it some slack to move around a bit.
