20.24 Mpgs!

this weekend i eclipsed the 20 mpg mark! most of the trip was 70 mph on the freeway but there was a little time on the logging roads... anyways ya 20 mpg w/ my 4.0 auto on 31's!

Not bad I got 30 on the highway last weekend in my new truck and avaerage about 27 city.

I wasnt really trying to baby it... my light cam on and i looked at my miles and it was over 300 and i was like **** ya!

Must be nice. My 2.3 auto only gets about 20 with lo pros and 18s

15-16 highway
that was BEFORE the 4.88s, ill be doin 3000rpms at 70mph

just got 19 which is all city and moslty from me driving to work which is 5 miles so thats pretty good for those short runs

part of me feels like you just got lucky w' your truck

for every 15 rangers I hear getting between 14-19mpg, there's 3-4 that break 20 and 1-2 that get high 20's (or even 30)

my 3.0 in my 98 with stock tires and 3.73's with a fresh tune up and eveyrthing maintained gets 17 if Im lucky....

i get mid 21s average and tickle 22 at times. 70/30 hwy /city.

Wow you are getting a little under what my 4 cyclinder gets on the highway.. wierd.. I get like 21-22mpg.

i get 31 on higway! ive recorded it 3 times on my way to detriot :)

for city i get 23-25

about 80-85 and I have 4.10's only reason I get that mileage is because of the programmer. If I didn't have that i'd be around 20hwy. I was also running the a/c full blast and it was about 90 out. I'm thinking if temps were around 60-70 and didn't run a/c and ran around 70 I could probably push 26.

my truck gets on average, since i bought it, 18.92 mpg. been as high as 22.05 and as low as 15.87 mpg. that is the 4.0 5 speed 4.10 stock tires. had the truck for a year now.

like someone else said, for every 20 rangers theres like 3 or 4 that get really good mileage.

i know, i am really pleased in my mileage, but then again i drive like someone 3 times my age.
