Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71

just wanted to say a few things about these tires....They rock! yah the cornering isnt great but what do you expect from an M/T? i have taken them offroad, no mud yet but it soft dirt and any kind of rocks, they make it easy for my 2wd 3.0 to get some traction. i actually made it up and down about a 40-45 degree slope with these! it almost felt like i had a 4wd, i could almost go anywhere my friends cj-5 could go, so far these are great tires and at this point i would recommend them to anyone with 2wd or 4wd truck, on or off road, when i get to test them more ill write more about them
heres a pic, they are 32x11.50x15,

Pretty sweet. I just got RV AT KL78's on mine yesterday, and I am pretty impressed with them already, granted they aren't the MT.

Love those tires. Definitely my next MT tire I will purchase. My other Kumho's have treated me too well to not give these a try.

I know l2en has these on his truck. He might be able to chime in with how they are on snow.

You can get a 37" if you go with a 20" wheel. Haha.... doubt they'll ever have those sized for a 17" as they aren't really a company focusing on Big tires. But yah never know.

I read some good stuff about them when I was shopping recently. They look awesome. I was considering getting them in 38s, but ended up getting the kl78 in 37s instead for the street.

I've had a set of these for about 1 1/2 years now and still going. I love them! The road noise isnt bad until they get pretty worn, but what mud tire isnt? Discount Tire had to special order them for me back then and I got the 31"s for $109 a piece (not including warranty). I've suggested them to many people since. For the price, it's hard to beat. I've taken them in snow, mud, sand, and rocks with great results. The one time I got stuck I was in over my head, 2 ft of snow with an open-diff 2wd, I almost made it! Theyve gone through about 20k miles of mostly street use so far. This fall I think it will be time to get another set. Great tires!

UPDATE! - it actually rained here a few days ago and the city drainage ditch still had some nice mud in it so me and my buddy decided to jump in it for a bit, now remember, im 2wd with ls so esencially 1 wheel drive, but i attacked those mud holes and not one time did i feel like i was going to get stuck, heres a pic of the truck

the mud was filled with clay too so it stuck to everything it touched

the tires performed very well and pulled me through some soggy stuff

and they clean out very well too, as you can see from the mud on my bed and on the sides of the truck so these tires and mud mix very well to
-on a side note, they are still mud terrain tires, on wet roads they break loose ALL the time but if you take it easy youll be alright, so my rating on these tires still stay is the very good range.
