I bought the summit kit and I have an 03, I haven't had time to install it yet but everyone said they are the same thing just from what I understand the summit doesn't include the ebrake extension which apperently you do NOT need, and the other thing is that it has the wrong size fuel filler extensions, which I guess you can pick up at autozone for like $5

They are the same. And try to use the SEARCH button. It will make things a lot faster and easier for you.

Here come the flames.

Maybe we ought to just delete the search button, it does no good anyway right. Or maybe it should have limited access to the members that do in fact use it.

I am kidding but your right

If you search I bet anything you would ever want to know is on this site... so why don't we just shut it down, archive it and not allow anyone to post anymore... I mean what would be the point of the site? We could just search and find it.... I'm kidding of course... but, if everyone searched to find the answers they needed there would only be posts about pics of trucks and stupid stuff... so, either answer the question and go on... or, just go on.... your choice.

now, they are the same just different brand names as someone said above... someone also said something about the E-brake extension... I didn't need that, or the fuel filler extension for that matter.

BTW: I went with the PA kit... for no other reason than I could get it quicker. lol

I agree with dustin it only takes 5 seconds to answer a question like this you can just answer it and move on, the guy just joined the forums and does not know that the question gets posted all the time.
And its $107 right now:

Didn't the OP ask this question in another thread he started??

Same kit, branded differently. The dang instructions first page is exactly the same. Summit house branded items are name brand items that are re-branded. For example, Summit clothe air filters are K&N filters! Cheaper price.

Get the summit kit. Use the PA instructions for the pictures. Those are avaliable from PA's website.

yes. its been covered countless times. search summit bodylift or summit body lift.

98+ kits are all interchangeable. The only real exception is the fuel filler neck and the vent tube. Some years are different diameters. Some '09 trucks, for some reason, have 10 bed mounting bolts! All others have the normal 6.
