i was creeping over on Powerstroke Nation, (not a member) and remember seeing a way to fit a double din into the dash. does anyone have knowledge of this and what is needed for the change over?

Secured mine through the sleeves/sides of the opening, just a 10mm longer bolt with nuts/washer spacers between the plastic sides and into the side of the unit. Sturdy as can be (using 4 per side). With a plastic trim ring on the front.
