exhaust for f150

looking to get rid of the ranger and get me a f150. wont happen till late next year but im already thinking exhausts i'd perfer a stainless exhaust kit, espically for around these parts cuz the new salt they are putting on the roads are devouring alumminum. I checked youtube and the forum for different sounding kits. I think the banks, mbrp, pypes violator kit, and roush sound the best. If anybody has any experience, advice,or sound clips of these kits i would greatly appreciate it. Also, would si/so kits sound better then the si/do kits? thanks guys for any input.

Banks or MBRP IMO.

Roush will be a lot louder than both of those.

I would just go with whatever you like better have looks wise, I can't really tell a huge difference between single out and dual out.

I've heard banks and mbrp, both sound good. I hate the huge tip on the banks kit though.

co-worker of mine just got a magnaflow cat back system. Not sure which magnaflow he got, but you can barely hear exhaust when idle, but sounds great when he romps on it.

There are usually a few cheap sites for magnaflow kits. The last two magnaflow catbacks i bought listed for over 700 but I paid around 500 for each. Always been happy with them, but haven't heard one on an f150. I would imagine they sound good as well.

Yeah I got my dual MBRP XP series for around 400-425 as well.

If your going magnaflow I would just buy the muffler off of Magnaflow Performance | Discount Performance Auto Parts | Performance Exhaust Systems | Flowmaster Performance Mufflers and take it to a local shop and have them do you a system.

Higher quality aluminum. The Pro is a fully polished system, the XP is just for 403 stainless if I remember correctly.

I would only pay for the pro if your making a show truck, for normal the XP is fine.

From what I've heard about the Banks kits its like MBRP and magnaflow, mellow idle but then roars when you get on it.

lol i thought my tires were a headache, truck was still worth the noise of the tires. thanks for the vids, appreciate it. I'm thinking the banks and the mbrp might be a little quit for me. Idk, unless i hear it in person and the camera aint doing it justice. The roush seems loud, but a good loud. im done with flowmaster, i actually want to put a quality muffler in.
