I wish! I dont have an extra 45k laying around. I really did think about selling the ranger too and putting down a really good down payment on a new truck and just sticking with 1 vehicle again but I decided not to.

Talk about being down low.
eh, cougar is just a good beater car to get me place to place. I wouldnt need it if I wouldnt have bought that diesel.

Yea I am totally fine with the number i sold it for, trust me I would have loved to keep it and it sucked watching it leave but I will be just fine with something else. Driving a pos car has really opened my eyes a little on what i really need.

I doubt I will get a house soon but i want enough green to support a house and any activities i would like to do while owning a house.

I need to get my priorities straight again, building a 5.4 or owning a diesel shouldnt have been a priority...

The pic works now. Such a good looking truck, kinda sad to hear its gone. That MPD oil cooler was freaking amazing. If I had the cash laying around I'd get the Bulletproof Diesel oil cooler for mine.

Easy to lose sight when you are single and have a good cash flow. I did the same with my Ranger and now look back and kick myself. To be honest, I regret that entire purchase, I didn't look far enough ahead.

As they say, live and learn. Unfortunately, most of us do it the hard way.

yea, it will be missed thats for sure. that cooler did work really well, i never had any issues with anything after i put that on. I just want a truck i can start and stop all the time short or long distances. I hated it when i would start the diesel just to drive it 3 miles and turn it back off.

MPDs kit is nearly identical to Bulletproof but you are so close to Bulletproof id go that route too.

Yes it is. I really only regret the diesel purchase the most. Only because I had a perfect truck before that and got rid of it, only to have a truck that had all kinds of issues that i had to resolve. Hindsight it always 20/20

Ain't that the truth!!!

I am going through the same thing now with my F-150. I am trying to come up with a good reason on why I bought it and got rid of a perfectly good car with 60,000 miles.

The only reason I have is I wanted the truck and wasn't happy with the car. Thats not a very good one. lol

Haha! If I had a better job i'd have a newer truck with the 6.0 in it. Easy horsepower compared to the 7.3.

Don't let that one sway you away. They're damn good trucks, I think you just got a bad apple.

why a 150 when you can get a 250/350 for less? that was a huge factor for me, id rather loose a few mpg for a truck that is much bigger and straight axled lol

My diesel got 11-12, F150 that i bought last night got 16 on the way home running 80 and it has a leveling kit and larger tires. Diesel is usually 30 cents more a gallon than gas on any given day so thats something to factor in.

True, but with the mileage I get versus the Ranger I end up paying about the same if not a little more to fill up every month.

I believe Steve meant a gasser 250? Maybe? Those can be had pretty cheap. Seen them go for 9-10k around here.

Nice new fiddy though.

Yea I cant find any gaser F250s for cheap around here. thats why i went with 150s. All of the 250s were in the 20k range with the same miles.

My 6.0 gets better mileage than my f150 ever dreamed of getting, and it has more fun doing it lol. Although it did slap me in the face with a dead set of batteries yesterday. Almost $300 later and I'm back in action.

Either way nice truck Zach. It kind of looks like it needs an alignment though. Not sure if that's just the pic or not. Let's get some interior pics.

EDIT: Zach I just noticed its got BFG's on it. Better take care of that quick like!! We can't have no BFG's on any of your rides lol.
