I have been thinking about upgrading to an f150 in the future and have been browsing craigslist for a while and came across this. I know it has somewhat high miles and the rear bumper looks kinda messed up. I dont know if it was in a fender bender or what. What do you guys think?

That price is really low, I would check the car fax.

I personally wouldn't buy a 04 with that high of miles but thats just me. Good bit of issues with the 04-05, especially with high miles. Spark plugs and fuel injectors are the big ones.

I wouldn't start out with something with so many miles personally.

I don't think the price is that low honestly. I mean its not a crewcab, its got high mileage, the tailgate and bumper have lots of damage, and the interior looks pretty rough. I wouldn't consider buying this truck for a daily driver, maybe if I just needed a farm truck or something.

My dad recently bought an '04 F150 FX4 Supercrew with 118k miles and NO body damage for $9000. So I dont think 9k for a beat up extended cab is a real great price.

If you want one, get out and look at lot of them. You'll get a good idea on prices and what you really want.
