replaced the ranger
Well, it's been a fun (and expensive) 10 months, but I'm finally relieving the ranger of its daily driver duties and replaced it with this:
'97 tacoma xtra cab
4wd
DOHC 4-cylinder
5-speed
she leaked fluids, she drank gas, she was small, she didn't have a functional gas gauge or driver side door lock, but she did me well, and I will always love her:

thanks guys, I do like this truck...it feels solid, it rides nice, and has the interior fit and finish of a toyota that I was looking for (the steering wheel looks like the one out of a camry).
It has 88,000 miles, which is sort of high to get used, but I know someone w' a '97 camry that has 148,000 miles on it, so 88k is low for the year, plus I've heard that the tacoma's 3RZ-FE (4-cylinder) is reliable and will last at least 5 years/100k miles.
the ranger's getting donated...no room/time/money for another toy...the tacoma is the new daily driver, and the motorcycles are my fast/fuel efficient/cheap/fun toys.
