side steps

Will the side steps off my 2011 fit a 2005 Ranger ? Would the '05 have to be an extended cab ?

Yes. And both will have to be extended cab

2 and 4 door trucks have different mounts as well.

So it must be an extended cab.

And the cabs must have the same amount of doors. The rear brackets are cab door number specific.
