Hi guys....has anyone tried this swap and is it even possible without rewiring the tranny?
I have a 1993 ranger with the 2.3 engine....also a 1995 b4000 with the better tranny, much stronger from what I have read. So, I thought, it should be in my 1993 which I have just fried the tranny in. Towing in overdrive and basically cooked it from what people are telling me. It still drives but for how long? Shifts rough if I manually shift down from overdrive to drive....so it's hurting.

So, The question is...will these two trannys interchange and if so what do I need to do to make it happen?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
