i have a free 3.0 and the head on 2.3 needs done. would it be easier to swap the 3.0? are the wiring harnesses and tranny's the same? or should i get the head done and cam it a little? the truck has 190,000 miles on it, should i just get the block redone at the same time too?

 

don't swap to the 3.0... you will be disappointed in its performance... just rebuild the 2.3 and put a cam in it... reeally wakes 'em up!

 

does anyone know what the lift is on the stock cams, and what is the best cam to put in it.

Don't do the 3.slow just do the 4.0.
