omg. front end is shaking. what gives
yesterday, i put in some new brake pads on the front of the truck. well a week before that had the wheels re-balanced. all was fine. then when i put the wheels back on yesterday after i was done it was all fine. didnt shake when i drove or anything. then the next morning when i drove somewhere, i started getting a shake in the steering wheel and the whole truck shakes as well. its not terrible, but just enough to drive you crazy. i double checked the lug nuts, and they appear to be tight. idk what it is. maybe the new wheels im getting next week will fix it. coulda lost a weight or two i guess, but i dont see how.

i doubt that it would pop up like that overnight.
but just went out, took the wheels off, made sure the brakes werent causing hte problem, put the wheels back on, torqued them as much as i could before setting it on the ground, then torqued them again. doesnt shake anymore then it did before now. (thanks to the steel wheels) lol
glad i took care of that. should be much better though next week when i get my aluminum wheels

Might just be those MTR's. I don't think so, but it is an option. Are there any obvious sign of bulging, or tread chunks. You could have damaged a belt inside or something like that.
Where did you get them balanced? Try taking it to a separate place.
One more thing, try removing the tires and cleaning up the mounting surface with a scotch brite pad. Some crap might have gotten caught in there.

my truck did that the last time i rotated my tires. the idiots that balanced my tires double stacked the stick on wheel weights on the inside of the wheel. just so happened that they worked fine on the back but when that wheel with the double stacked weights was on the front, the weights got torn off by the caliper. took it back to the place i had them balanced at and *****ed em out.
