2006 Ford Ranger

I have a 2006 XLT Ford Ranger and I have recently purchased 2 motorcycles and a 6' by 10' trailer. Will my Ranger e able to haul this much weight?

yes it will the 4.0 is rated for like 5,000pds although you didnt say what size motor you got but either way you'll be fine

edit: that rating is for the auto 4.0

Which engine is in your truck? Auto or manual tranny? Do you know how much the motorcycles weigh?

2006 ranger

wanna say it is a 3.5 maybe????? automatic tranny.....combined weight of motorcycles is 1100 pounds

You mean the 3.0 there is no 3.5 in a Ranger. And yes it will pull that with no problem.

even with the 1000 pound trailer...looking at right at 2200 pounds probably. wasnt sure what size engine....was guessing...

Either the 3.0 or the 4.0 will pull 2000 pounds

You could look under the hood to see what motor you have... Just a suggestion.
