Here is my $0.02 I had Rhino in my 04 and it chipped on the tailgate edge from the four wheeler ramps once, I took it in and thye fixed it (lifetime warranty). Never had another problem with it. Might try Line-x on the next truck just to compare. I will never do that Herculiner again, That stuff doesn't hold up to any abuse.

My Line-X over the rail [styleside bed] cost me ~$400
i doubt there ever will be a consensus on which is better, but it is definitely between Rhino and Line-X

Linex -$299 not over rails. I like the Linex cause it's not as rough/course as the Rhino.
I have black SS bedrails. I bought some Clear vinyl 3M Stoneguard that am going to apply over the lip of the tailgate. They say it isn't damaged by the shot from a pellet gun also if it's over a headlight The leanses won't be damged. It's not cheap.
I did this for the look I wanted on my truck. The bedrails match with black steprails and black grille guard.
I have only had the Linex in a couple of weeks so I can't say yes or no.

I had two business trucks with each brand. The Chevy 2500 had Line-X and the Dodge 2500 had Rhino. Both of them chipped and both were repaired no questions asked by both dealers. The compound is the same, coast to coast. The difference is application by dealer and how lazy the grunts are in the prep process.
As for Herculiner...I put in about six or seven hours of prep and application time into my Herculiner on the burnt Ranger and for $60 it was a hell of an investment. When I had my old flareside, I got about three thick coats out of the one gallon can. It held up awesome working construction and throwing just about everything you can think of in the back. I'm gonna use it on my fleetside except I'm gonna buy an additional quart(or two) to get the same coverage as I had on my flareside. I think 1 gallon is insufficent for a regular size bed.
It's a bedliner....lol
If your street queen needs to have a bling bling bed then both retailers sell a reconditioner*cough*way over-priced*cough*. I always used Pro-Prep, made by Silkolene, it's about 9 bucks a can. It's basically Armor-All on crack.

i will say that line-x and rhino is unbeatable for their warrenty and if you plan to beat it up... but i have hurculiner and for my purpose of just looking good and providing some extra protection compared to a bare bed or plastic liner you cant beat it... just takes some time to put on, and in my case i did 1 coat over top the rails, two on the side walls and about 3.5 on the flat bed....

98$ for herculiner kit, extra quart, 3 spray cans of duraliner, sandpaper, acetone and tape. And I beat the crap out of my bed, herculiner holds up well. i know a lot of people had have problems with it but It has always worked really well for me. We put it in my dads 95 f150 which is used as a choker truck now for the logging company, it takes the abuse. It starts to fade and wear in like three years, but just clean it and touch it up with some more. Oh ive got a regular bed fleetside. Good luck, post pics when you get it done..
ps.. I went over the rail with it.
