The 09 looks much better.
On a side note, I like how EVERYONE is always *****ing about NOT having a 4 door Ranger. It's been explained over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
In North America WE HAVE THE SPORT TRAC!!!!! END OF STORY!!!!
If you WANT a 4 door Ranger, sell your current truck and go buy an EXPLORER SPORT TRAC!!!

Karbass would be the one to ask...he seems on the ball about stuff like that. Last year ford hinted at a car based explorer as shown with the Explorer America concept car. Alot like a honda pilot for example. Most the automakers are backing out of truck based midsize suv's......transforming into carbased midsize suv's.

the exploder died as soon as it went to the 3rd gen body style. I thought about buying one and I test drove it it was horrendous. Horrible throttle response thatsnk to the computerize throttle. Had way more body role then the 2nd gendsand just to many stupid sensors and doo dads. Plus I was looking for a truck that I could put people in kinda like a bronco type thing. That and their auto matic 4wd pissed me off too. Even tho that came about in the 2nd gens. I kinda like to play in the snow so I I started to gas it in the corner once had a decent drift going then blam 4wd then blam curb wtf is that all about. that really helps *********! I have noe come to the conclusion The ranger is the only ford for me. Cept maybe the sport track. And it is a shame to see the Brazillians go away )=

I've always found the gauge cluster to be alot cooler than 04+ US spec rangers....same goes with their center consoles and the climate control faces and door switches(the console and climate control i totall forgot...thanks for posting the link Freddie!)
I really do LOL that they were cheap and reused the 09 tailgate.....the upper body line lasts a whopping 4" or so and they designed the tailights to include the bodyline...

UPDATE:
Brazilian Ranger is also this new look...I really kinda dig the super duty/f150 mimicing door glass/plastic mirror area(where the window kicks down). Only took 'em 10 years for it to get to the Ranger. Appears as well that they put escape/focus door handles on it.
