so whats in store for your guys' rangers in 2010?? i know we have a 2009 year in review thread but thought what the hell why not make a 2010 plans thread.

mine is:

3" BL
33" sumthings...
get my mesh tailgate done
build headache rack
build front bumper
bolt on rear bumper (hopefully will be done in the next few days, if weather allows)
replace pass side rear axleshaft/hub its bent
replace tail light
finish smoothing/or replace bedside
paint grille and flares possibly put flares back on not sure yet

EDIT:

also want to pull the rear jump seats out
put my aftermarket 6.5" speakers in the holes where the seats were
add a 10" sub

 

I'm hoping to get the body work/mods wrapped up, and get my interior done.....again! Would also like to work on Ranger #2 and see about getting it road worthy this year.

 

wow nobody else has plans for the trucks for 2010???? just 2 of us??

 

1'' BL, tires/wheels, black out bumpers, GPS, and maybe a winch...

 

Upgrade audio system, and get a winch. That's it.

Gonna look for some 15x10 rims and maybe some new 33's.

 

Paint interior parts, 06 fender badges, clear Corners, maybe a fog light bumper conversion and Powerdome hood. Grille ford emblem painted to match the truck.new tires on 15's soft 8's

some how to improve my gas milage on a 3.0 ( any suggestions on this would be great )

 

My plans for 2010 is to hopefully get $6500 for my Ranger. I'm still shopping for a larger "family" vehicle.

Perhaps get a '09-up Ranger Supercab (4.0 standard; auto), but doughtful.

Maybe give some TLC to the frame, all depends on how well the fresh undercoat holds up through the winter.
after that If I can save enough up through spring summer and part of fall I'm hoping to sell the ranger and pick up a new whip, thinking either a lvl 2 ranger, a sport trac, or a FX4 crew cab F-150. Or keep the ranger and get a Cobra. We'll see when the time comes I guess.

 

Hope it holds up through the winter...
and finally get some parts in order to finish all I want to do to it...

 

4wd swap maybe? SAS?
Supercharger?
Coilovers.

 

1. Put the Ranger up for sale
2. Sell the Ranger
3. Buy a new Ford F-150

 

keep making the car payments. sigh.

Maby a 3" body lift
More lights
True dual exhaust on a 2.3
PAINT!

 

Could also be the axle seal.
