What looks best to one person isn't always what looks best to the next.... Personally I like 15x10's on trucks with flares and 15x8 on trucks without.

Information on your truck, and what size tires you're running would help people give an opinion.

I'm running 33x12.5 tires on 15x8 rims... just so you can see what it looks like.

sorry I forgot that I havent put pics and info up of my truck on here. But its an 06 extended cab 4.0 5 spd 4x4. ill just be running 32x11.5 that most people run when their truck is stock and trying to get the biggest tire they can and eventually ill get up to 33x12.5.

i wouldnt run 11.5 wide tires on a 10 wide rim. i dont think that will look right IMO. stick with a 15x8 and you will be fine when you go up to a 12.5 wide tire.

I vote for 15x8s with everything 11.50 and up. Actually they look okay with some 10.50s.

Check the tire manufacturer's web site for their specs, too. They will recommend a min/max rim size for a particular tire.

yea i basically agree with 15x8 for trucks wit no flares n 15x10 with truck wit flares. id lik 10's but they arent going to look right until i superlift it so grrrr idk wat to do. anybody got pics of 32x11.5 with jus cranked bars on a 10 rim to see ifitlooks as bad as everyone says.

your truck isnt lifted so id go with 15x8. If you're deff gonna get a superlift then you might as well get 15x10 now

15x8. if you go 15x10 not only is only a 1.5" difference gay and risk popping a bead, you'll also tear the crap out of the fender and valence.

You NEVER see people running 11.50's on 10's. They're all on 8's.

yeha im still tyring to decide all of what im going to do. especially beens my truck doesnt have flares but just the stock small ones then 8 would look good especially because lifting isnt going to bw until next year. and wannabe where you been at, ive tried dropping you a few emails over the last couple weeks about that torsion bolt with no responses. i didnt know if it just screwed up because I do most of my searching through online on my phone which is VERY difficult but being in college and 2 jobs im always gone. But anyways whats the deal with no responses lol.

yeah but I have pretty much heard from most that you can run a 12.5 wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim and be fine which is prolly the biggest I will ever run. this is just my DD and toy to play in, not something I am building to be a crazy offroad rig which even though that would be awesome, this isn't economical and ina situation for me to do right now. Plus I think if I did choose to build something crazy like that, I would start with something else not a newer truck that I owe money on. Wannabe, its fine man I was just making sure you were getting them and still working on finding that bolt for me for when I go to order rims in the next week or so. I understand if you were busy and I am sure you get alot of messages, just making sure we was alrit and everything still goin good on finding that for me and just answering general questions that posting on the forum most cant really give a specific answer like I know you can. but thanks for the info guys, keep it coming!

that would be a good idea but I have a few problems. 8's dont look to bad with the lift so I wouldnt exactly have to buy new rims but more importantly the bigger issues is 1. i want dick cepek dc-1s in black and because dick cepek has started to discontinue them with the new dc-2 it is becoming very hard to find them still, and only a few website thats I know of still have them in stock and havent sold out of them. Once they are gone, there wont be any new ones left to buy so thats a big issue with time. and 2 my stock alloys look just god awful lol but really them been sold out soon is the biggest concern and I say im not going to lift until next year but if something happens it could be even longer you know so I am really just wanting to buy the rims now before they aren't avaliable anymore and I am not a fan of the new black dc-2's.

Thats not totally true. I have a set of 31x10.50s on 15x10s and I think they look awesome. I know we are talking a little bigger tire here, but my 31s are pretty dang wide on those rims and they dont rub anything with nothing more than cranked t-bars.
