HELP! Did Durms today, now a question....

I did my drums today (everything in there, including the cylinders), all went well except I had to replace my drivers side brake line cause the bolt got rounded out. Once finished I was told to reverse and stop several times to adjust the brakes, which I did 8 times.

Two things: all works fine and feels fine while driving, but after a short drive (about 20 km's back to my home) my passenger drum is too hot to hold my finger on for more than a few seconds (but not hot enough to sizzle water), while the drivers side is warm/hot, but I can easily keep my fingers on it for any length of time. OK, which one is not good? I assume I incorrectly adjusted the little adjusted thing on one of them, but which one? Should they get that hot? How do I correctly adjust that adjuster (I lubed and cleaned it by the way).

Second, it was 7pm when I went to get a new brake line, and the only place had one that was 50" long, just over a foot longer than I needed after bending. Is it fine that I did some artisitic bending to it to get it shorter in order for it to fit right?

I am done for the night. But I will re-inspect tomorrow I if anybody would be so kind to lend some thoughts, much appreciations would occur.

I would pull both wheels and get the drums so that they both have a slight drag. It is a feel thing, it is hard to describe how much. They are obviously too tight. I would check both sides to be sure. For the line you should get a flaring tool and cut the line down and re-flare it, but it shouldn't hurt anything being that long. Also make sure everything is properly routed/seated, where it should be and it not hanging up. I hope this helps.

I just checked my rear out again today, everything seemed fine. I bled them again, and I gave it a good soaking in brake cleaner anyways.

Is it possible that the pads need to be worn down a bit. The passenger side seemed to be rubbing a little bit, but the pads were retracted as much as they could, they were tight against the aduster at the bottom and both were touching that little post at the top of the assembly, so there was no possible way the could retract any more.
