So I have two rangers.
A totaled 88 ranger with a good 2.9 V6 and Mazda 5-speed and also a 87 with a bad 4 cylinder and semi-bad tranny.
Both are fuel injected.

I want to take the 4cyl and tranny out of the 87 and put the engine from the 88 in the 87.
First, I've tried researching this, and haven't really found an actual answer. I am using a phone though to search, so I'm not as efficient.
Anyways, will the v6 and Mazda 5spd bolt right in place of the 4 cyl? Engine mounts, crossmembers, etc.
Also, is there anyone that makes a intake manifold that a carb will work with? Want to ditch computer controlled stuff on the truck. I can get a different fuel pump if needed.
The wiring harness has a few things missing, plus I just don't want to mess with all of that...
