some goodies...

alright, i stole my grille and top chrome trim peice, i didn't have the all the right tools to get th chome pieces off around the turn signals, so next time im over at my dad's i'll have to grab them.

But tomorrow, after work, im going to start sanding it all down, then im going to paint it as close to the factory red as i can. Im also going to the junk yard with a buddy in the mourning to try and find a lower fog light valance that i would also like to paint to match the truck. so how many coats of primer and paint and clear should i put on?

I found these fog lights at walmart, i kinda like them, but will they fit? we're going to make some halos for his cougar and i was wanting to make them for the fog lights, im not sure if i will yet, but what type of glue is needed to seal them back up?

Alright, turns out their site is down for scheduled maintenace, but they're round, clear, blue bulb, about 3-4 inches in circumferrance. and the mounting hardware looks like it will work. i guess i can get the valance, then match em up, cuz either way im keeping the valance. so yea.

how many coats of each paint, and the valance should just screw in place of the non fog one right?

On the sealing issue...I believe they use super glue......but i'd use some type of epoxy, and once it dries, add a layer of silicone

OK, well, i went to two differant junk yards today, and neither of them had a lower fog light valance, so then we went to this place called 'wheelers', and they said they want $78 just for the valance, no lights!!! F that. so tomorrow i hope we can go check some more yards.
