ABS plastic question

you know the ABS plastic crap..used on alot of stuff..

do you think fuel would eat or screw up this plastic?

I need to lengthen my filler neck i got for my fuel cell and well only way that ive come up with is to use an abs plastic piece that i can clamp around the two pieces, fuel wont be getting on it much just to hold the outside of the pipe together..

if you got any other ideas..im all ears..

Are you looking for something to strengthen the neck too? Why not use something like the body lift fuel extension?
