Question - 33x12.5 - stock
hi there
I've just crossed what seems to be a great deal to me.
I want to ask before I jump in, just in case
"Four 33x12.5R15 Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain Tires w/ an average tread depth of 6-7/32's (45,000 miles). Tires are mounted on American Racing 15x8 Alluminum wheels w/ 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern (6 years old). Just took them off a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ."
for $300 sound cool , doesn't it ?
I'm actually at stock height - with this set will I experience some rubbing or another unwanted situations?
thanks a lot

Dude, I know everyone just about is going to tell you to lift before that. I had 33x12.50's on 15x8's stock with just the torsion bar almost maxxed out. They will rub, but ONLY at the back part of the front flare. Unless you are turning full-lock you won't rub, and even then you can trim the flares to make it stop rubbing. I'd go ahead and get the tires, put 'em on, and start saving for the lift.
And here's my trimmed flares, they didn't rub that whole trip.

Why not buy em now since it is a great deal and save them till you get a lift? That way there is no rubbing and no possible damage to your tires. I have a few buddys that put tires on that were a size too big and the rubbing wore grooves in the tires, some were soo bad they eventually had to get a new set of tires that were smaller
