Sucks on the highway..it will cruise at 70mph pretty good until you go up a hill. Im so ready for 4.88's not sure on the mileage yet but I will say it doesn't look to promising though, again im in need of 4.88 gears asap.

Ive had a few people at work say it needs wider wheels but i like them sitting almost flush with the flares. Wheels have a 4" backspacing and has absolutely no rubbing what so ever. If i keep the truck i would like to get a set of wheels i seen up at summit last week, cant remember the name though.

Just a note, 4.56s equate to about 2700 RPMs in fourth (1 to 1) at 65 w/35s.
What is the RPMs going to be with 4.88s and do you need it ?

Careful with those 35's they'll do a number on your spindle snout and bearings. Keep an eye on them. My snout snapped off twice now just driving to work in the morning. Had to downgrade back to 33s.

just going by what everyone on here recommended. most said 4.56 with a 4.0 and 4.88 with a 3.0. I just want to stay at 70mph when goin up a hill. my daily commute has about 16 miles of interstate so its not too bad.

pre runner ranger's got a good point... with tires that big, the stress of road driving, can be worse than off roading, your looking at lateral g's... so going around a sharp corner at a decent clip, is going to put more stress on everything, bearings, upper/lower balljoints, bushings... it's adding length to the fulcrum... and in fact, you will probably see less stress (compairitively) added to them, when 4x4ing (as compaired to street) as your cornering on the street comes on quite suddenly, and if you are going to drive on your side, off road, you usually go over nice and slow...
