After Accident "Problems"

Went to the Dr today to be told I have a pinched nerve in my back since i have 0 reflexes in my left leg. I have whiplash, and that my back is out. I go for Xrays in the AM.

it gets better.

I am now like, "scared" i geuss you could call it, being out on the road, its a very weird feeling. I was cat sitting for a very good friend of mine, and upon returning her cat today, I was almost rear ended AGAIN only this time in my ranger, cause I stopped for 2 kids on bicycles in a cross walk at an intersection.. the guy in the dodge ram behind me chirped his tires.... big fsckin hurry to go no where. then, getting on the expressway on my way home, a blue mustang was so close, i couldnt see his head lights in my rear veiw mirror.... i kept tapping the breaks to attempt to make him back off, but he wouldnt. then he tried to pass me on the on ramp! ugh you have no idea how nerve racking this is. Im in some moderate pain, im obeying my own under 2k rpm rule, and man, every "moderate" close call is putting my heart in my throat. these two incidents alone, i dunno.... im kind of jumpy, but driving a bit slower i geuss, being extremely cautios, yet its like, now people are aiming for me..... if this keeps up, man, i hope this goes away.

when I was 17 i watched live, 2 cars collide at 40mhph head on. I was the first and only one on the scene for a good 10 minutes, I was also the one to call 911. I think THAT incident, seeing first hand two vehicals in good condition be totally destroys in a matter of secodns, and then seeing the effects afterward. the one driver, a male was ok, the other driver, a young mid 20's female was not, while she WAS wearing her seatbelt, he head hit the windsheild. and blood was gushing everywhere, I did what I could to help her til EMS arrived, however that incident comes to my mind OFTEN.

my father has ALWAYS told me to brake early, I also learned this on my own as one of my first vehicals was a 1977 e350 overloaded at 14,000lbs, doesnt stop on a dime. that taught me to give myself PLENTY of room. dad always told me once u stop, take your foot off the break for two reasons, one, it helps cool the rotor and prevent premature warpage, it also - more importantly, gives whoever is behind u more room to stop, and hopefully avoid collision, this came back on sunday when i moved up 2x in an attempt to avoid a collision - didnt work tho.

my mother has always told me to leave myself a way out. that too has saved me a couple times, and I did check my way outs on sunday, there was none, the truck i was driving was just too big to go anywhere but where I was. to my left was a row of cars, to my right was a 8in curb, and street signs. the curb alone would have done plenty of damage to the truck. so i was forced into where i was with no way out.

had I had my ranger, I would have opted the curb and onto the sidewalk. however with a truck thats 22ft long and almost 9ft wide, thats alot of truck to throw around like that.

my dad had that when he was a lil older than me, he stepped on an empty beer can. he was off work for 8 months, all lined up for surgery, was a week away from the knife when his dad - my grandpa, was doing a job for an old chiropractor, my dad saw him once, didnt do much the second time 3 days from the knife, he saw him and he said it was the most pain he had ever felt EVER in his life.. by the next day he was back to work and driving the old 1960's stake truck with the manual transmission, - which I geuss if ur old enuff, u may have driven one, i have only heard from my dad - but their a MOTHER OF ALL btches to drive, anyways, moral of the story, u may wanna try a few chiros first before u go in under the blade.

I was the same way after my accident. I was constantly think the cars around me were going to hit me.

And tapping the brakes to get people to back off doesnt work all the time. Last week I was going 65 on the interstate when I chevy was riding my ***, So I tap the brakes and then tapped my trailer hitch ball what ever you want to call it like he was trying to be a nascar driver. You want to talk about scary I about pissed my pants.
