so say i needed to add around 5" of lift to the rear suspension...

whats the best way to go about attaining said lift..

 

Add a leafs I would think cause you dont really want more blocks due to axle wrap unless you have a way of combating that

 

explorer leafs, AAL, and shackels. and btw if you get said 'shh' item i dont like you lol

 

The BEST way is to get a new lift spring back. Something that is designed to ride nice with more height. Deaver or something, I'm not sure who makes lift springs for the Ranger any more.

 

ya forgot about deavers, i think superlift makes some springs too.

yeah I hate you too but try some 6" skyjacker leafs or aal with a shackle.

im looking for 4-5" over stock on the back because the shackels fubar up my fender flare and tire, i have been reading about expo springs then came across sport trac ones. probably with sport trac springs and a add a lead you would definatly get 5".

 

I'd say the Skyjacker soft ride leafs, deff don't do gayass shackles

 

Skyjackers or deavers and shackles to ditch the block all together.

 

if it was me I would run 2wd 88-98 chevy springs then run blocks and drop shackles.

Big blocks=axle wrap. That is bad. Like everyone else has said go with AAL's or a new leaf pack.

 

Hes probably got the James Duff traction bars on his truck like most lifted people here have, including me. I have 4" blocks with them and have no problems

if i were you korey i would get some expo springs and get some 2 inch block or some lift shackles. 4 inch blocks are huge and impractical.
