So I just bought a 2008 Ranger Supercab XLT, and I noticed this number it’s on all the glass. ALL OF IT. Even the side view mirrors. I can’t find anything about it through a google search I was wondering if anyone here might know what this is, or if it’s just something that might have been personal to the previous owner. It’s driving me crazy.

 

I can almost read what looks like a phone number 1-8?6-86?-0??1

And the image almost looks like a spider or crab.

 

Compare the number to your VIN. Probably theft "protection" numbers

 

Most likely a "company truck" so 3rd party stickers
