question about step bars

do the stock step bars mount to the frame?

and when people do body lifts, how do they lift up the step bars??

They mount to the body, no need to do anything with them when you BL

Most people take them off when they do a body lift and ship them to me......

hey they are up for sale in the for sale section. lol

but now that i think about it, i want step bars once i lift it.

they do help alot. jut depends on how they are build and how they are attacked to the car.
mine are thick iron welded to the frame. saved me a few many times

Yea, them darn step bars will just jump out and attack that poor little car next to ya everytime!! haha

uve ot to see my step bars ill post a pic tomarrow probably... some ppl just dont know how to park a car.. even small ones....

ive got on my stepbars red paint... yellow paint.. white paint and lot of rock scrtches but thats different story :P ust dont wana paint them looks funnny all the different car colors sticked to my stepbar :P

i really just want the step bars back on, because the lady has trouble as it is getting into the truck lol, and its stock. the lift will only make it worse. and i also miss having a place to kick all the mud and stuff off my shoes when im out wheelin.

well duh... but he asked how they mounted...if they mounted to the frame....wouldn't you think if his truck had 'em before, and now theyre taken off....he'd know how they'd mount? thus answering his own question?

no i totally forgot how they were mounted, i took them off a looong time ago, and had forgotten. lol

but it was dark outside, and i was in a poorly lit parking garage when i took them off
