i see this alot and personally i dont think it looks half bad considering my front bumper is cracked and im gunna mount light behind tha grille. any specific reason for this? idk i juss kinda like the look w/o it, shows the innards lol

 

hmm I like having the front bumper and i think i still will even with a grill gaurd.. I think its okay on older ones but the 00 and above i think should have them. but hey its all in opinion.

 

It provides alil extra clearance for bigger tires, only reason i see in it myself, or in your case its just cracked and looks crappy. Im in the no rear bumper club right now thanks to people who cant dive at my college, but i am in the process of making a custom one.

 

i keep my hitch on so hopefully that helps if i get rear ended

I ran without a bumper for 6 months, it makes the truck look beefy I just like having fog lights.

 

HEHE wanna hear a funny one.. my mom had a suburban with a hitch and got rearend by a VW cabrio and it actually did more damage to my moms car being it bent the entire rear of the frame.

i thought the main reason people were takin em off is cause they broke .... i think its dumb to ride without one ..... i seen a tacoma with a rollpan get rear ended a few years ago and it pushed the entire bed into the cab of the truck .... maybe it coulda still happened with the bumper on but i bet there woulda been some more protection.

 

mines off right now. it gives you much better approach angle when off roading plus my damn tires would rub on it even with 4" of lift.

i have a custom bumper in the works though so its only temporary...

 

WEll im rolling without a valance cuz i broke all the tabs off by accident...kinda the same?? I jsut wouldnt wont my radiator that exposed..Dude if a freaking eagle flew into youd be screwed...and him too

 

I ran valence-less for off and on the past 2 years. I kept ripping the damn thing off out wheelin'. So...i just took it completely off. Now that i'm double lifted, i'm rockin' it...i like having fogs.

 

I hate seeing a truck without a front bumper. Unless it has a custom bumper with a skid plate.
