Opinions on my next truck

Okay I have 3 options i'm considering. This wont be happening untill late this year or sometime in the begining of next year. So let me hear your thoughts on my choices.

First choice: Regcab 06/07 sport, 4.0 5sdp 4x4

Second choice: 06/07 S/C sport 4.0 5spd 2wd (basicly fully loaded)

third choice: 06/07 regcab f150 4.6l V8 auto (wouldn't have to many options, but not quite stripped)

I would keep my current truck, but it lacks things I really would like to have in a truck. Plus being that I currently drive for dominos fulltime and my probe needs a new engine i'm going to end up putting a lot of miles on the truck between now and then. So i'll be looking at a new truck to replace it with more of what I want. So let me know your thoughts on those options and any pros/cons (and if your going to say just keep my truck dont even bother lol) It'll be almost 3 years old and i'll be ready for something new. I've already priced these and it'll be cheaper to buy me a new truck then to refinace my current truck. I'd end up with the same if not better monthly payment so the new truck would be the better deal.

some questions to ask.
1 do you plan on lifting the 4x4 and would you offroad with it?
2 does it snow in alabama, wait i mean ICE in alabama?
3 do you need the extra space in the back for crap?
4 do you plan on still having to drive for dominos?

I like the way the reg cab f150s look now, was never a fan of reg cabs.
ive always had extended cabs, stuff for my crap and the occasional person riding in the jump seat.

good luck in your choice, im still drooling over the new f250 that joined the r-f family.

Yesabout the 4x4, the space is nice but I can always get a hard tonnue cover to store stuff. Yes I will be still driving for dominos for atleast another year and a half-2 years or untill im done with school. I will hopefully have a new motor in my probe so I can use that for delivery though.

Also yes it ice's here, but not very often. However my fiance has family in Tn and we go there a decent bit. Only an hour and a half away so regcab wouldn't be bad, but the 4x4 would be nice for a "just in case"

I like creature comforts. My vote goes to the 2wd.

Pros: Can be lifted OR lowered if you wish, better on gas than 4x4 typically, more creature comforts, more interior space for gear/speakers

Cons: If you wish to go wheelin you wont have the luxury of 4x4, loss of bed space

I believe the best choice would be the 2wd, but the choice is yours.

I also have a question for you, why not throw in a used engine into the probe?

4x4 all the way... unless u dont plan on off-roading or weather conditions dont require it

btw i am totally against the 4.6 F150. A friend's dad uses an 05 4.6 fiddy as a work truck and i've driven it... slow as hell (and thats coming from someone who drives a 3.0 ranger) it was really disappointing. I'd only buy the 150 if it had the 5.4

Dont trust used engines that's what WAS put in the probe before I got it. Anyway with a new motor it should come with some kind of warranty.

I voted for #1 since it sounds like you want to go off road some. May as well get it so that you are never in a situation where you wish you had it. If you didn't plan on going off road, I would have voted for #2 since it would cost less to maintain and have more interior room.
