new trailer hitch for BL???
i have a bit of money saved for new mods and one of the things i plan on doing is using some of it to fix the loose ends to make the truck complete.
one of which is the 3" gap between my bumper and trailer hitch that has been bugging the **** out of me since my BL. i thought of cutting and rewelding it to take some of the gap out but i dont want to hack it up and it fail on me.(plus i have plans for the factory hitch )
what aftermarket hitch will bolt up and not have that gap? if i remember right a Hidden hitch does jus that.
Can someone show me which one to buy and from where? pics are also welcome....

The bumper 'not fitting right' that your seeing is that the brackets push the bumper forward some, so the line up between the flares and the bumper looks 'notched'. That might be what your seeing.
Your towhooks will either need to be removed, or the valence will need to be cut. I understand there's a 'Michigan Only' towhook mod that stone might be able to tell you about. Works with the 3" bodylift.
Here's my lifted hitch...
Took a 2.5" chunk out of it...should have went the full 3" now that it's installed. Used every piece I took out of it to add strength...towed a 3,000lb loaded trailer for about 300 miles, no cracks. Will likely take it off and add reinforcement where the main welds were though.
pic *****? who, me? yes.

That is exactly what i started doing last night..the only problem I am running into is that the body lift brackets for the rear bumper go in the place of the factory hitch. So either I have to offset the hitch to go on the outside of the brackets, or come up with a whole different idea for the bumper.
I did hear about the street scenes bumper awhile back..can't beat free though :)
