is this ok?

today as i was leaving school i was looking at my truck and it looked like it was tilted towards the right.. are all rangers like that or is there something wrong?? its only tilted a little bit not too too bad.. just curious if anyone might know the reason why.

Ok then....

No, the "Ranger lean" it quite famous really, if its very slight, I wouldn't worry about it... Could be a number of things but I highly doubt its your frame...

what have you been smoking??? just because it leans doesn't mean theres frame damage. My truck leaned some......so did my 85 dodge......so does a bunch of other trucks.......think about it, the gas tank, and battery and driver is on that side, and over time, it can cause it to stay like that.

Uuummm, No! My truck was leaning to the right and it was the torsion bar, it just needed adjusting. so no it may not be frame damage.

I can't see any pic if you posted one, but can you be more specific? refer to the sides as driver or passenger. Right or left indicates perspective that we have no frame of reference for.

There is such thing as the "Ranger Lean". resulting from the Gas tank and driver sitting on the drivers side. so with a full tank and someone behind the wheel there tends to be a lean. Sometimes all it takes is a full tank.

I don't know what you've been smoking either.

Ranger Kid 17 ,
I see by your sig it's a 94 .Is it leaning low on the passenger side ? Or the driver's side ? Low on the driver's is normal over time as that is the side the gas tank is mounted.
Sometimes the truck will look as if it is leaning due to the ground it is parked on.
Because of the age I would just attribute the lean to a sagging spring.

well hold on guys no one got hit in the truck when i bought it, its leaning passenger side but now i really think back the reason was that it was parked on a hill.. no big deal really and yea also when i took my bedliner off it looked like something punctured(sp?) the bed like something metal... that my only concern.. the punctured side is passenger towards the tail gate....... have no clue what it is. all i know is when i go over a bump you can hear it squeak from it moving up and down.

yep, with a full(ish) tank of gas the ranger will lean one way

Edit: oh and your bed/rear suspension squeeking is totally normal, but go under there one day with a can of wd-40 or similar product and go to town

mr. special no i mean some metal poked through my truck bed...and it squeaks due to the metal going up and down over a bump rubbing against the metal of the bed.. like you can see it where it poked through.

OK figured it out, looks like the leaf spring went though it like the top of it towards the tail gate and i also noticed that the bracket holding it broke... it still up there and not moving around i guess.
