I have a Walmart battery at the moment (replaced the small ***, reconditioned battery that the dumb previous owner put in the truck), but when that one goes, I'm probably going to go with Interstate. My John Deere originally came with one, and that thing lasted around 8 or 9 years. I know that may not seem like much, but that tractor's a diesel, and it got a lot of use in those years.

I say stick with oem. Motorcraft batteries are proven tough and come with a 100 month warranty and 3year free replacement. Can't beat that. Oh I do work for a dealer and have had good luck with motorcraft, selling and buying for my own vehicle.

here's the current list of johnson controls batteries. notice motorcraft is not on there any more.

So it doesn’t matter which battery you buy they should all be the same or are they ?

Some battery resellers have their own standards for the battery manufacturer to build to, what this adds up to is two batteries made by the same manufacturer for two different Jobbers supposedly with the same warranty and they are totally different inside.

Which ever battery you buy, get one at the top of the list, the longest warranty you can afford, that way if something happens they will be required to fix it !

You know the adage “You get what you pay for !” it holds true for everything.

Ok so if Johnson controls makes Wally worlds, advance auto and auto zone what should I get?? The battery won't hold a Charge very well anymore so I need to buy tomorrow. Sounds like its a toss up between autozone and advance... Very close in price, but Wally world is a lot cheaper..... Thoughts???....
