We only have a 1/8th local track. Last time I was there Denali was running like a 7.5 ( with leaving a cyl head laying around the 60 foot mark ) and I was running way behind him with a bad RT ( like .120 , we run a straight-up tree at our local, none of this .500 index crap ) and a severe loss of traction between 25-40 foot ( tires broke free when my solonoids opened.. track was slick ) .
Call it somewhere in the 9's ... for now.

You're still in the 9's? Hmmmm.....I think you're underselling yourself :D
Doug904 ran a 9.0 in the 1/8th at Birmingham....his besst 1/4 so far was a 14.28, but that was before the new gears, headers, and a couple of other items. His 9.0 was with the stuff.
Heck, I'd be lucky to break 11's in the 1/8th right now.....
How do people figure a 1/4 mile time using the 1/8th as a reference? Don't you add roughly 4 seconds?

Theres 3 types of rangers.. Lifted and purpose built to go offroading ( usually slow ) , Stock ones, and ones built to haulass. I think that about sums it all up.
Theres no real compromising between the 3 as a lifted truck doesnt have the stability a street truck, in retrospect, I couldnt go through HALF the places the 4x4 crowd does ( I think dr skot still has pics of me hung up on a small snowbank a 4x4 ranger walked over liek it wasnt there ) ... then theres teh 'bolt on' crowd ( majority ) who keep the factory drivetrain, put on an intake, exhaust, corners, tails... the basic stuff.
