i find my biggest blind spot when checking for on coming traffic, or changing lanes is if your looking back torward the passenger rear corner of the truck, the seat is always in the way unless its down, that and from the drivers seat, if the passenger seat is up or u have a passenger, u cant see out the lil window behind the passenger seat.....

I have a topper so the blind spot on the drivers side is basically anything I can't see in the side view mirror. I just make sure I give the blinker a head start when I change lanes. And I move over slowly because I figure any car I can't see there would beep the horn once they saw some TSL's coming at em.

Heck, even runnign stock size with 265/r16's, little cars vanish behidn my rear bumper, sometimes the only time at night that I can see anyone behind me at a stop light is to flash teh brakes and watch it reflect in their faces Thats, and of course, as above.. the biggest spot is by far right over the left shoulder in between the extended cab window, and the driver side window.. jsut cant see anything there.. I've almost gotten pretty close to pulling into a lane to find some teeny car sitting right in that blind spot.. I'm a good driver though, so I only freaked them out a 'little' bit before getting fully back into my lane.. heh

ahh dang, that may do it.. I think its about time us extended cab's get some of those $3 mirrors.. or raplce the mirrors with some real nice wide ones.. I used those on my old '88 ranger and they were fantastic, made backing up at night a breeze... although, after my 3 ton jack busted through my tailgate goign uphill, it sure made backing up and seeing peopel behidn me alot easier without a tailgate there
