Could you make it work with sort of custom adapter plate, yes. However you would not get that many useable gear ratios out of it.

You just take all the gears out of one tranny and pour them into the other, works every time.

It would be an awful lot of work for nothing. Not sure that the truck could pull something heavy enough to need all those ratios.

It really equals out to about 8 useable speeds, low range on the t-case shift 1 2 3 4 5, then t case shifted into high and start in 3rd 4 5. I've done that a few times, between several trucks and usually you end up with 8 gears. Not that you would ever need low range 1-5 during normal every day driving.

Manual T case? My old ranger with Electric T case wouldn't go in or out of low gear unless I was stopped with the clutch it.

it would be neat if the electric case could be shifted into high from low, say youve got a heavy trailer, your starting off-highway, once you get on the road, clutch, high range, 2nd or 3rd gear depending on ground speed, then up to 4rth. (if your really that loaded, you aint using 5th.) wouldnt use 5th in low ranger either, so really, a 7 speed. (L) 1-2-3-4 (H) 2-3-4.
