door lock and keys

Before I got my Ranger someone tampered with the drivers door cylinder lock. Where is the best place to purchase 2 cylinders and bezels assemblies? Is there a place I can send a spare key and have the key still match my Ignition AND get new assemblies too? oh By the way it is a 94 XLT standard cab w/ manual locks.

Any decent local locksmith should be able to re-key a set of door lock cylinders to match your current key. So you could just get some cylinders from a junkyard or a new set from any auto parts store and take them and your current ignition key to the locksmith and have him re-key the door locks and make some new keys. Then go home and swap out the door cylinders. To get the cylinders rekeyed, and new keys made will probably run you about 25 bucks plus the cost of the new lock cylinders (junkyard about 5 bucks, parts store about 30 bucks)

OR... you could buy a complete new matching set of ignition and door lock cylinders with all new keys and just change everything in one shot. A whole new set will probably run you around 50-75 bucks. I usually find this option simpler.

Yes +1 ^^^^

They come in Chrome or black and you can just get one, the plastic lever is reverseable for drivers or passenger door use.

And yes locksmith can rekey new or used to match your current key

You can do it without remove door panel.
Tab to release lock is on the back side of the door, it slides out and then lock cylinder can be pulled out and the locking rod will come out enough to release it, hold on to it, lol.
install rod in new lock and slide it back in, reinstall tab to hold lock

But removing door panel is not a big deal, roll up window all the way first

That's also a great idea, you can take all the locks to a locksmith and with their help you can re-key those locks. After that sell those locks to its original cost to have benefits.
