Bigger Tires

What the biggest tire a 98 ranger 4wd take without have to be lifted? I'm thinking of getting a used set of 33x12.5x15's. Thanks

dude tire guide read...

98-00

XLT 4x4, XLT Offroad, Trailhead(mild T-bar crank always recommended for leveling purposes, always remeber to get an alignment)(may want to also replace T-bars do to T-bar sag)

Depends who you ask, you got guys that will consistantly say that OR I can tell you this...

No Lift, No Rubbing = 265/75-16
Minor Rubbing, T Bar Crank & some chevy shackles will lift the truck probably 1.5-2'' max, with little work, you can get 285/75-16's

              Heres a picture of each:

              265's:

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, you new guys need to actually learn to search, and/or go to the APPROPRIATE sub-forum and read the sticky's. Sorry for busting on you but it gets old after the question comes up so much!

Best bet is to get an old gallon milk jug and punch a couple holes in the bottom.. and duct tape it to your oil filter mounting. That way you can do cool burnouts every time you stop at a stoplight...
