blown spider gears

Ok so I originally thought I blew everything in my rear diff because of the sound of it driving home. But I popped off the diff cover only to find shredded spider gears. Where could I get a them cheapest. I have close to the staff discount at a local parts shop but if anyone knew of a really cheap place that would be a great help as the truck is for sale and I want it drivable..

I THINK I still have a set from an open 28 spline. If that works, 10 bucks plus shipping (I'll ship USPS to avoid stupid brokerage fees) and they are yours.

Yup, pulled them from my 01 about 8yrs ago when I put in a No Slip. Kept around just in case. I beleive they had about 15k or less on them, just be sure you need the open spiders as they are different from the L/S carrier.

We now have a FX4LII (replaced the 01), Jeep, and F250 so I have no need whatsoever for them.

your going to need to pull the whole diff out of that truck and clean out the entire axle. chances are very good your going to need new bearings in the rear end. if your spider gears came apart you now have metal shavings floating everywhere in your axle and you will destroy everything again unless you clean it all out and check everything
