New Exhaust? Bassani? or MagnaFlow? or JBA?

I currently have a custom dual magnaflow exhaust 2.5IN 2.25OUT, ever since i have had the exhaust installed i was never that impressed with it. To me it felf like i had lost too much back pressure and the low end has sucked ever since. Since then i have learned that a dual exhaust setup for the 4.0 isnt the best for performance. I want a single in single out stainless steel setup that is located in the same place as the stock exhaust. I have three brands in mind, they are the Magnaflow setup, JBA setup, and the Bassani Quiet thunder setup

All the kits are direct bolt on and are all stainless and come with a lifetime warranty, my problem is I cannot decide which one to go with[???]

I have heard a Bassani Exhaust on a 4.0 Ranger and it sounded sweet. Since i currently have a 4.0 with the magnaflow setup i am sure that the other magnaflow will not sound much different. As far as the JBA i have not heard one on a ranger but i did download the audio clips from their site.

Please give me you opinons on these. And no offense but i am not interested in a Flowmaster exhaust system.

Thanks
Zach

You should ask Leo, he's had at least 2 or 3 different mufflers.

I would check out Gibson, they are not overpriced, but it is a top notch product.

As far as JBA is concerned, you can find sound clips on this page:

I love my Bassani. But if you are more interested in a louder, muscular sound, over a refined, quieter note, don't get the Bassani. I love the sound of the Gibsons I've heard.

If you are going with Bassani try: www.proficientperformance.com. They had the best prices around when I was looking for mine. They are listed as 98-01 but they do fit an 03 fine.

EDIT: They also have a sound clip of a JBA cat back on a 4.0 Ranger.

Just get borla muffler, and custom piping..

Gibson just sucks straight up... Its just a tad more flow efficiant than stock..

Bassanni and Borla is what i would say go with, i had a flow 40 too, and it has proven to be better than gibson..lol

Borla or bassani..

I dont want to do a custom exhaust agian because it will cost a fortune to get it done in stainless and there are not very many good places around here. When i got my custom dual exhaust it cost me 450.00 for all aluminized i can get all stainless kit for less than that.

I am going to go with bassani.
