bodylift question

might be gettin a new body lift cheap from a guy on craigslist for a 2wd ranger, just makin sure tho will it fit my 4wd? thanx

also does the years matter? I dont think it does, Im just makin sure.

The drive doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure the bodylift has to be for a 98+. Also don't forget the bumper brackets are a tiny bit different I think.

EDIT: Just looked at PA's site. 98-00 have a separate bodylift than 01-06. I'm certain the lift blocks are the same I just think the bumper brackets are different.

Ok Ill ask the guy. how hard would it be to make a bumper bracket?

Bumper lift brackets are the same from 98-00, I used a 98 kit on my 04.

yeah, the lift was for a 2001 so Im golden either way, gonna go pick it up on sunday. looks like its gonna be a good b-day for me after all! haha gettin my coilovers next week....

ya rear brackets are the same from 86-08 and front is 98-08

98 kit will work on a newer truck i think there is 1 drop bracket that might be missing might be the other way around i think its 98 that has two side frame grounds

04+ the fuel vent hose extension is the wrong size, nothing a trip to any AP store or Lowe's will fix though.

i think ford changed that vent hose all the time. my 2000 has a bigger hose then the supplied fuel extension... i think thats one of those hey whats on the production floor kinda part
