Removal of Mudflaps

Hey all,

Well today I managed to damage my mudflaps on my 2 week olf truck. I backed into a snowbank and now they are just hanging there all sideways. My question is, would it look stupid if I just took them off and left the other plastic on the truck that goes around the wheel well or should I just get it fixed?

Anybody with a newer Ranger have these issues and what did you do?

Thanks

Pics of what your talking about would help. I think as long as they aren't a part of the fender flares i'd take them off. The only draw backs are your truck gets dirty easier, and you will hear more rocks hit the bottom of your truck.

that didnt take long more snow coming tomorrow and this weekend

if ya can take a pic from straight on from the side instead of the angel so we can gett a bigger view and idea. I was thinking I would have to tkae them off when i put 32's onbut was thinking they would look kinda wierd with them off because they are almost a molded piece compared to tradition mudflaps

Keep em off. If one is busted no sense in having 1 on, or trying to keep them both on. Looks better without it.

Ive been thinking more and more of takiing mine off.

Yeah. there is still a little hanging down but I don't care. I rather have the mudflaps just to be nice to people behind me but oh well.

I am going to take off the front once I am 100% sure I am gonna want to keep them off.

The hitch cover is in the works but I am trying to find one I really like but I have yet to find it.

Are there after market mudflaps for these beasts?

Trim them so you dont have that chunk missing, or get some newwer Ranger flairs. Would the new FX4's fit? Or remove them completely.

I am still not sure what I am doing. I do see the use of mudflaps but dammit, I don't want to buy a new one and have that one break also next time I back into a snowbank

Thats how its done :-) Show them honda's and mercuries what a truck can do... just make sure it isnt too pointy, your tires might not like you after that
