Yeah I always thought it was strange for would build a 2wd on a 4wd frame....Makes you wonder why they even used the normal coil sprung 2wd frame

Painless wiring or Ron Francis wiring systems can take care of that my friend. In fact Ron Francis claims to be able to wire a car or truck from front to back in a single weekend and all for less than $350 bucks. which includes everything except the ECU which is real easy to get. as for Ideas I'd lower it a bit and turn it into a street/strip truck myself. Sonic Blue(Candied version) with a high metal flake, 8.8 inch housing with 4.10's gear ratios with posi track (same thing off a stock mustang). I did go to www.jcwhitney.com and noticed that alot of Ranger items listed are usually mustang parts. Check it out.

Well I picked up my 04 edge parts truck today. It has already had some parts removed but the drivetrain is complete and it has nice seats as well as the body I need. Although the original hood was gone atleast the one on there is an edge hood. Here's a few pics. The first 4 are from the seller, I only took a couple.

Actually it came with no door panels. I think I am going to use the gray ones I have from the 01 edge. I also have green(power) and tan (manual) door panels

I'm sure he does too. You are an A$$. now we are even. go to www.painlessperformance.com if you don't believe about the wiring thing or you just as well called every street rooder magazine that's out there wrong. I guess that autometer, VDO, Cyberdyne and all of those other guage companies are wrong too. That shows how dumb you are. You don't know alot about wiring do you.

I didn't work on trucks last night. I was cutting grass and weeds...almost done. I will have to finish that tonight. I did pull the wiring harness out from under the hood of the 04. Next I will be pulling the dash...the fun begins

Oh boy. what are you planning on using under the hood if I may ask? 221,289,302 or 351? or are you going to stick with a stock motor?

I will probably go with the 4.0 5 speed and 4:10's with 31x10.50's....I'm also thinking manual hubs and the air box mod after ruining a few air filters...I have some ideas for the front end that are a little different but not ready to commit to them yet...stay tuned in...lol

Made some progress today but man I'm tired...lol
I pulled both cabs, rolled out both frames and moved them to the oposite sides of the driveway. I thought about converting the edge frame to 2wd instead of swapping frames but it was more work that way...just smaller parts...lol Anyway here's some pics ....enjoy

And you wonder why you have no respect on this site. You don't become a expert by reading street rodder magazines...
