Got a note of a box with the infamous 'JBA' stamped on it sitting in the living room...!

And also got my blacked out headlights in!

And to top it off, also got my tools and worklight in yesterday, my first set of air tools along with a buncha bits for them and such.. egads, I'm going to have a good next 2 days =)

And Ebay for the blacked out headlights..

Ohh, and the leatherman and the knife.. I figured I would put soem "man tools" in it... random i suppose, but hey, the knife is damned sharp, and everyone needs a leatherman! Got those back for christmas 2 years ago.

for some reason, i always thought they were always that chrome looking coating. I know the ceramic ones look chrome......Mike which ones did you get?? Those are the "base" model ones??

I'm seriously thinking about getting them....espicially since next week i'm expecting a significant bonus!

Make sure to get a full set of deep-well metric impact sockets. That's the most often-used air tool for me!

Mwaha.. Welcoem to my life, after all my bills are payed off.. I still have a pretty penny left to do what I need :-) I've already got a set of new wheels and rubber lined up next, followed "eventually" probably in another 2 or 3 months give or take, by a superlift.. still not sure if I want to go Superlift or RCD, I'll definatly have to purchase the driveline for the SL if I decide on it. The wheel and tire combo will consist of 15x8 Ultra BAJA Black/Chrome Wheels, and 32x11.5x15 BFG KO's

Heck yeah, woudl be fantastic..

Just got back from Shucks, picked up a big pack of Deep Sockets for my impact wrench, along with some temp spark plugs until I can get anotehr one.. from that crpa accident that happened.

I just realized how much easier itll be for me to change my plugs this time.. Im going to pull into my barn, jack up the front, pull the tires off.. wheel wells are coming out, then remove the headers, switch out the old spark plugs with these temp NGK's I bought.. then pop the new headers on :-D

Well, sitting outside still working on the truck.. think im calling it good for the night and hitting it again in the morning.. need to drop my exhaust down a bit to fit the new headers in.. they are about half an inch longer then my old stock ones.. Heres a couple pictures to show you just what they look like in difference.. and especially notice at the end how it all flows into one, instead of 1 long tube they all join into. This is how JBA gives you added power all around, as well as keeping the compartment cooler.

Ive got the passenger side header off, as well as the spark plugs all properly changed. let me tell you.. if you ever pull your headers off, do yourself a favor and change the spark plugs then.. I can actually fit both of my hands up on the first plug there that everyone has problems with.. SOO much room :-) I bought some NGK Iridiums as a temp until I order up another of those Pulstar plugs...
Tomorrow I'll work on my drivers side.. I actually BENT and TWISTED my freaking tire iron trying to break loose a bolt that my impact wrench couldn't break.. the very last one, and i want to kick Les Schwabs *** for doing it, lol :-) I'll get a good picture of the tire iron here tomorrow.. I grabbed a higher quality one from my other truck to use, just haven't bothered with it yet. You can actually see the twisted head and the stressed metal on the tire iron.. sorta neat =)

Edit: Oh, and I made a new Avatar for my account.. Like??

Mike, while you're at it, you might as well head over to the ford dealer and get those "gasket wire" things that are like a gasket between the stock manifolds and the & pipe. They sit ontop of the "bowl" or "cup". Dangit...why did i try to mention this as I have no good way to describe it! lol. Lookin' good man.

Haha, way on top of you buddy :-) I got one yesterday, and had to order anotehr one up.. they are sort of bowl shaped, and in the newer vehicles, they are a graphite type of stuff material for it. Im used to the old Asbestos type of rope stuff... oh well, I hope itll work =)

EDIT: The wierd part is though.. when I pulled the old exhaust off, I'm 100% positive it didnt have any type of gasket on it, I poked and prodded expecting one to come out, and there most definatly isnt one.. just bare pipe up to the lip of the header.
