4 Wheel Parts----Bad Press/Lawsuits?
I read something on some other forums about 4 Wheel Parts being scammers and basically ripping people off when they can. Has anyone had any experience with them or these issues?
There is 1 4WP here in Northern Ohio and I've been in a few times and usually leave without buying anything because their prices aren't that great and their selection is the same as other places. Anywho I just figured this is something that we should discuss or at least make people aware of a possible problem.

LMFAO
if y'all believe everything you read online you should re-evaulate yourself. If you were a store would you warranty another company's product if you sold it? u buy a computer from Best buy... who do you call for warranty? HP, Compaw etc... not Best Buy....
I don't think we should discuss ignorant people making dumbass claims online....

Wow such a viscious reply...All I'm trying to do is make people aware of a possible problem...thats what these forums are for...IF YOU DON'T AGREE with what we are discussing here...then thats fine. However some people may be interested to learn about the FACTS...not speculation.
That's all I pointed out, was that I too read some things! I didn't claim to know people who work there or have had problems myself.
As far as your comment about Best Buy and warrantees I don't have a clue what you're trying to say!

Q's like me -- he goes off a bit at times.
I've bought some small things from them with no problems. Never bought anything big. Stuff came quickly and all.
It's possible people have had problems and that the company has not been responsive. That's not always "ripoff" in intent -- but just bad management.
That company is growing fast -- maybe too fast. That's a recipe for problems as your reach exceeds your grasp, as they say. Could be they just need to get their act together.
They are not ProComp, they just market their stuff. Somebody else, I believe it's Cooper, makes tires for ProComp under contract. Others may too. Cooper also makes the Mickey Thompson brand of tires (in fact, Cooper owns MT) which aren't known for quality problems. Sometimes there are bad batches of things, or maybe the specs ProComp has them made to aren't that good.
But although I don't agree with Q's tone, I know what he's getting at: people have a problem and they make up a story to explain it. You really have to watch out for that when reading "testimonies" on the internet.
And frankly, 4 wheel parts shipping costs have ALWAYS seemed high to me. I bought my RSX shocks from Desert Rat because the shipping was less.
