well the tbar is cranked, and im willing to trim away, my plastic valance is pretty much **** now anyways lol

well, i'll keep my eyes open for 35's as well.

i think im just going to go ahead and do the BL whether i find tires or not. just gotta wait for the right set of tires :)

still haven't heard back from the guy with the pro comps, thats my best bet right now, but there a few other people interested as well.

check craigslist. i finally got some tires. now i just need to install my body lift. i ended up with kumho mud terrains (33x12.5x15) got the four for 300 and they have a lot of tread left.

I really really do not suggest 35's and BL on a 06+ truck....reason being...the tallness of the valence/bumper. Marie's I trimed alot of the valence to clear her 33's....

sea-bass is running 35's on 3" BL....I don't know how much if any trimmin he had to do. We should axe him!! hey sea-bass you do any trimmin on you front end?

anyone at all?

and will the lift affect how much weight i can put in the bed?

The tires rubbed and the front valance when turning.

okay. and i've looked at how to raise the hitch. but im still not quite sure whats involved in doing that..

yeah i rub full lock and slight flex @ the same time. w/o my bl lift. your bl didnt take care of that at all huh? do u rub off-roading now that u cut it?

I've had no problems with rubbin on anything at any time. Must be a difference in the flares or something?

it will be an easy install with two people just follow the directions and youll be good
if you start fri afternoon and get all the prep work done and the bed then start sat mornin with the cab (be sure to use a torch on the cab bolts and they will come out easy) then youll be able to finish up on the bumpers and everything then be able to come to the meet on norcal sunday

the guy thats doin it is confident that we can knock it out in 5 hours.

he's done quite a few of these, on rangers, and other trucks. so hopefully all goes smoothly.

its gonna either be this saturday, or next saturday. we'll see!

Yes

and I had 35's with 16x10 rims for a while, I would suggest you getting 33's though since you do alot of off-roading in rocky areas...For the most part, in Georgia flexing is not needed...not to many rocks I have to climb over on trails out here. I know I may get flamed for that remark, but its true. Plus, I dont take my 04 off the road that much...one day it will get used though.

yeah if you look a few posts up, im buying the wheels and tires off that jeep i posted.

they're 33's.

and i dont really plan on taking it off road as much anymore, i need this thing to last. only the occasional wheelin trip. in the summer. im done in the snow lol.

because my plan is, in a year or so, buy an XJ and build it up.

Yes, I want an XJ as well. I should clarify, where I live in Georgia there are not many places where a lot of flexing is needed.

My roommate had them on his B4000, 33/12/17, (or whatever the metric equivalent is), They flung mud like crazy, if that truck wasn't high centered on the diff's, it would not get stuck. He got rid of them because they are terrible on snow and ice. Even worse than a mud terrain. But beyond that they are a wicked tire.

sry to go off topic but not all M/T tire are bad in the snow my mud rovers did great in the snow i love them for the snow and sloppy ****
