New competition..

Hey all,
My buddy in Germany just sent me an email. The subject was "My new car", this link was in it:
http://www.stern.de/sport-motor/auto...9&nv=fs_pd
I guess this is for those times when you have to get those 2x4's home EXTRA fast.. You spead freaks might have some competition at the lights!
I'm guessing it's a concept/p-shop as I can't read the German text below the image. The rear end strikes me as very Lightening-esque..
Anyhow, my reply to him: Mine will crush that euro trash!
-Bubba
Edit: It seems the site allows direct linking..

Can't say that I don't like it......But any manufacturer can just stick the car frontend on a truck platform. I think they should revise the front end, so that it is still decidedly Porsche, but not in a way that makes it look like a Boxster.
I also found this...evidently BMW likes to do the whole car front/truck body thing too.

I translated what was under the picture, it's a little iffy, but I think we might get the point. I don't know German I used the internet;-)
"The Cayenne only is already an unthing: Long-legged like a cross-country vehicle, but motorizes like a Racer. On the 4-wheels-madness one still can do draufsetzen, if one the back cabin wegflext. Cool, now extra-strong holds belts still must go aboard, so that the lawn mower does not fly by the acceleration from the loading area."

Babelfish says:
Porsche Cayenne Pick UP: Shop and lawn of the Cayenne alone is already an absurdity: Hochbeinig (offroading?) like a jeep, but motorizes like a Racer. On the four-wheel insanity one can still draufsetzen, if one wegflext the rear cab. Cool, now must still specially-strong straps on board, so that the rasenmaeher does not fly with accelerating from the loading area.
That B-Pillar on the porsche is just messed up looking.
Now I hate the PT Cruister, but I love this:
